(Boston) Up at 8. Breakfasted at 8.45. Eggleston with us. Prof. Moses Coit Tyler called. Out shopping with Alice. Called at furnishing household store, at Noyes' and at Shute's. Had corns cut. Dined with Shute at 1.35. Off for home at 3pm. Home at 7.30 all well. Called at Father's. Read letters. Retired at 11.15. Sent two S.S. letters.
