(Hartford) Up at 7.15. Johnny up at 6.15. Wrote before breakfast. Letter from Fred. Check from Norwalk. Made out monthly statement of a/p. Off at 12.25 for Springfield with Slosson & Annie. Dined at the Massasoit. Met Dickerson & had long talk with him. Called at Holland's. He absent. Gurdon came at 3.30. Called at Sturtevant's. He away. Called at Mrs. Merriam's. Home at 6.30. Out in evening to district school meeting until 12.40. Johnny had gone to Lebanon at noon, taking key of house with him. Entered by end door. Retired at 1.15am. (Sent three S.S. letters and one other.)
