(Hartford) Up at 7.45. Breakfasted at Father’s. Downtown to see Kingsbury. Called at book-binder’s. Rode with Johnny to East Hartford to see Smith. He away. After dinner sent off Gray’s furniture to Spring’d. Worked on missionary correspondence. Wrote letters. Off at 7.20 with Johnny & Kingsbury for New York. Met Gen. Otis at New Haven. At Astor House and retired at 12.45. Sent eighteen S.S. letters and one other.
