(Hartford) Up at 7.15. Hot day. Finished letter to Fred. Wrote telegram to Lyon as to Nat'l Teacher. Downtown, stopping at Gurdon's studio. Wrote communication for Eve. Post. Heavy and weak. Downtown in afternoon. Called at Prescott's, market, etc. Met Dr. Curtis. Talked with him about Charley Camp. Out to Twichell's. Out to Camps with Johnny. Worked on back door fly screen. Retired at 10.30. Sent five S.S. letters and one other.
