(Hartford) Up at 7.45. Rainy day. Johnny went down to bank. Wrote letters. Called at Father’s. Mr. Camp called. Down to bank with Johnny. Called on Dr. Wilder. Bought passage tickets to West, also accident insurance ticket. Wrote letters. Rev. E. L. Clark and wife called in early evening. Down to depot with them. Prepared draft of circular for church collections. Johnny took valise and coat to be repaired. Charley Camp called. Had long talk with Alice. Retired at 12.20. Up and down for an hour fighting mosquitoes. Sent seven S.S. letters and three others.
