(Boston, Mass.) Up at 6.40. Downtown with Pratt at 8am. Obtained trunk of books for Johnny. Off at 9am for home. Met Pres. Jackson, of Trinity College on cars. Sat with him all the way to Hartford. At Hartford at 1. Johnny & George met me there. After dinner called at Father’s. Very tired. Wrote letters. In evening out to Camps with Alice. Talked over Charley’s trip. Mr. Tiley called there to see me. Home and retired at 11.30. (Down to ticket agency with Mr. Camp this afternoon.)
