(Philadelphia) Up at 8.15. Out to Union rooms at 10. Had long talks with Rice, Allibone, & Wurts about World for 1872. Talked over new name for a paper. Telegraphed Alice. Kept at work at Union rooms until Board me at 4. Then in that until 5.30. At dinner at Continental at 5.30. Feeling quite ill. In bed at 7.30. Kingsbury called and talked an hour or so. Unable to sleep until after 1.
