(Hartford) Up at 7.30. McClunie called to see me to ask me to address Caledonian Club on Scott Centennial. Downtown with Johnny. Off at 12.20 for Spring'd. Met Kingsbury at Massasoit. Dined there. Called at Holland's. Had long talk about S.S. Union affairs. Called at Mrs. Merriam's. She away. Off at 5.10 for home. Home at 6.30 with Mr. Kingsbury. He went downtown after tea. Retired at 11.15. Sent one S.S. letter and three others.
