(Hyde Park, Mass.) Up at 7.20. Baked beans for breakfast. Made ready for forenoon services. At 10.30 went to Baptist church. Preached Conscience sermon. Visited S.S. at noon. Dined at Evan’s. Out at 3pm to anniversary exercises at Baptist church S.S. Methodist & Congl pastors and schools present. Preached Bible-light sermon to children. Met Maj. Adams & Col. Darling. After tea at Evan’s, rode with him to Boston. At 7pm spoke at Clarendon St. Baptist Ch. S.S. Concert on the names of Jesus. Went home with Mrs. Pratt. Passed pleasant evening there. Retired at 11.15.
