(Hartford) Up at 8. Bright day. Made out monthly statement of a/p for Sept. Johnny's mother & brother Frank came at 11.15 & went to Norwalk at noon. Dined with them at depot. Met Rev. Mr. Wines & talked about his church care of children. Wilson hanged at the Hartford jail about noon. Met Sheriff Russell at office of Post. Sent letters in afternoon. Obtained new policy of insurance at Aetna. Called at Father's. Retired at 11.
