At New York about 4. Severe rain storm. Called at Pullman Car Co. office in Jersey City. Dined at Mary Prime's. Telegraphed Alice. Off for home at 8. Met Rev. Horace James on cars. Pleasant talk with him. At Htfd. depot at 12.40. Met Johnny. Still raining several. At home with dear Alice at 12.50. Retired at 2.30.
