(Faribault, Minn.) Up at 6.30. Soon after breakfast, Rev. Mr. Williams came for us to ride to Northfield. Delightful ride over the country, & pleasant talk on religious themes. Called at Pres. Strong's of Carleton College. Sent telegram to Faribault to Noyes & Lewis. Dined with Pres. Strong. Visited the new college with him. Rode bak to Faribault with Dr. Williams. Took tea with M. B. Lewis & Charley at deaf & dumb institution. Went over the building. Down to S.S. teacher's meeting. Took part in it. Back to hotel. Bade good bye to dear Charley. Off at 9.40 for Milton Junction. Retired in sleeping car at 10.
