(Hartford) Up at 8.15. After breakfast read letters & papers. Wrote letters. After dinner downtown with Johnny. Off at 3.30 with Annie to Greenwich. Commenced reply to Scribner on Ann. S.S. Schools. At Greenwich about 7. (Saw Baby at Fairfield depot in passing.) Attended evening service at Congl. church. Took charge of it. Spoke on One Thing Needful. Wrote again on reply to Scribner. Retired at 11.30. Sent eight S.S. letters and two others.
