(Boston) Up at 8. Saw Gov. Weston & Gen. Donahoe at breakfast. Called at Shute's, Pratt's, & Kinsley's, Burt's, Congregationalist office, etc. Dined at Young's. Out to Parson's. Wrote awhile at Parker's. Supped at Copeland's. Off for Springfield at 9. At Massasoit at 12.35. Difficulty in obtaining room. Slept in Mr. Taylor's room. Retired at 1am. Sent one S.S. letter and one other.
