(Hartford) Up at 7.30. Beautiful autumn day. Had talk with Alice about Mrs. Eggleston. Out to Asylum Hill Church. Heard Rev. Mr. Boughton preach on Men of One Idea. After dinner read books and papers in library. Down to Morgan St. Met Johnny. Went with him to Centre Ch. S.S. Taught class there, spoke to school. Home at 5. Charley Denison at tea. Out to Camps with Johnny. Back at 8.15. Wrote N. P. Haven. Johnny went to mail letter. Retired at 10. Called at Father's in the afternoon.
