(Hartford) Up at 8.15. Johnny home soon after breakfast from Winsted. Prepared draft of plan of Normal work of Am. S.S. Union. Sent telegram to Fred, asking to to come to Hartford. Wrote letters. Johnny slept most of afternoon. Downtown. Called at bank. T. T. Fisher's, telegraph office, O. S. Kelsey's, market, etc. Out to Mrs. Noyes. She absent. Arranged papers on floor. Sent letters by Johnny in early evening. Telegram from Fred saying he could not come. Called at Father's. Took bath. Retired at 11.
