(Hartford) Up at 8. Mr. Kelsey called. Worked again on Concert exercises. Johnny went down to bank. Money from New Haven. No dinner brought. Sophy went for it. Lost sheet of Concert exercise. Off at 1.15 for N.Y. Johnny with me to New Haven. Talked over his lesson with him. Mr. Lanson on cars. Wrote Allen & Evans & Rice on cars. Finished Concert exercise. At Tyler's at 2.45. Thence to Prime's. Dined with him. Off by Erie train at 7.20 from Jersey City, leaving 23rd St. at 6.45. Wrote Vincent. Wrote up diary. Commenced letter to Alice. Retired at 9.45.
