(Hartford) Up at 8. Again talked with Alice much of forenoon. Rode to E. Hartford with Johnny. Saw J. B. Smith. Talked over Concert Exercise with him. Worked on that in afternoon. Called at Father's. Out in evening with Alice & children to sociable at Asylum Hill Church. Mr. Twichell just home & new organ played by Dr. Barnett and others. Retired at 12, sent telegram to Fred. Wrote letter to him. Johnny lost it.
