(Hartford) Bright day. Called at Father's. Downtown with Johnny. Left Father's trunk at bank. Deposited $235 of his coupons for collection. Bought postal envelopes. Obtained Baptist minutes of Dr. Cushman. Dr. Hunt called at house to see Baby. Again at Father's. Johnny hurried to post-office to get my diary left there by mistake. He brought it to me at depot. Alice there. Off at 12.25 for Boston. Dined at Springfield. Telegraphed Johnny. Wrote letter to Ned Gallaudet and George Gray. Made notes for Sunday's address and for next weeks' Institute . At Boston at 5. Called at Shute's. Thence to Pratt's home. Retired at 11pm.
