(Boston) Up at 7.40. Cold day. Out to find Mr. Dunn, but failed to see him. Remained at home preparing for afternoon all forenoon. Down to Beach St. Presb'n Church for 3pm service. Met Judge Smith and 000 Wells of Stockbridge there. Home with Pratt. Shute there. Off with them to Chelsea in evening. Addressed Rev. Mr. Plumb's S.S. Concert there. Address both afternoon and evening on Matt 18:2 Back to Pratt's before 10. Hearty supper and pleasant talk there. Retired at 11.15.
