(New York) Up at 7.30. After breakfast at the Astor House, called at Independent office. Then, at Wallace's. He not in. Up to Tyler's office. Thence to Prime's. Again at Tyler's and back to Prime's. Telegram from Johnny. Annie & James at Prime's. Out with family to Edward Slosson's funeral at Dr. Roger's church on 5th Ave & 21st St. Dr. Clark spoke loving words. Thence, with B. Slosson to Green-Wood Cemetery to assist at burial. Back to Prime's to dinner. Off at 8pm for home. Home about 12.50. Retired at 1.30.
