(Hartford) Up at 8.40. Worked on article for February World on Giving. Over to Father's. Obtained his signature to notes and check for Aetna stock. After dinner downtown to bank and Aetna office. Paid up in check and notes for Aetna stock for Father. Telegraphed Kingsbury. Did marketing. Worked on article for World. Finished it in evening. Sent it to Rice. Retired at 11.45 very tired. Sent five S.S. letters.
