(New York) Up at 6.45. Off at 8 for New Haven. Sent letter to Ward. Wrote Wurts, Kellogg, and Keeler. At Rev. E. L. Clark's at 11.15. Dined there. Made ready for afternoon service. Out to S.S. Institute at Calvary Bap. church. Met L. W. Brown, also Johnny and Mr. Kingsbury. Spoke on The Superintendant's Duty. Johnny went to tea with me. Mr. Folsom there. Wrote again to Ward, with copy for Independent. Out in evening to Institute. Spoke on Who Should Attend S.S. Stopped at New Haven house with Johnny & George. Kingsbury there. Retired at 11. Sent five S.S. letters.
