Long talk with Rice about questions on lesson papers. Dined with him. Again at Union rooms, talking with Kirkpatrick about questions. Dined again at Kingsbury's. Telegraphed to F. Allen & Tyler & Astor House. Off at 6.45 for New York. At Astor House at 10.30. Retired at 11.
