(Hartford) Rainy morning. Up at 7.15. Downtown with Johnny. called at Tuller's & picked out a coat for him. Called at Courant office. At bank at noon. Called at Father's in afternoon. Downtown after dinner with Johnny. At noon met Mr. Blackstone at State House. At 7 off with Johnny for Boston. Wrote Mrs. J. on cars. Met Rev. Mr. Graves on train to Springfield. At Springfield met Parsons. Rode with him in compartment to Boston. At Parker's at 11.50. Sent three S.S. letters and telegram and one other.
