(Hartford) Up at 8.20. Sent off letters to Advance and S.S. Times. Called at Father's. Saw Gurdon's pictures just ready for a start to New York. Called at Twichell's. No letter from Fred. Off at 12.20 for Worcester. Found McCullagh on train. Met young Farragut & young Finch. At Worcester, met L. M. Marsh. Went with him to Bay State House. McCullagh sick. Called Dr. Schofield. Called at Mr. Morgan's & Mr. Whitney's. Went to Mr. Morgan's house at Catherine St. Dickerson called. Went with Mr. Morgan to Y.M.C.A. prayer meeting. Spoke there. Back to Mr. Morgan's. Record called. Looked over notes and sermon. Retired at 10.30. Cold night. Sent two S.S. letters.
