(Hartford) Up at 8. Prayers before breakfast. Wrote letters all forenoon. Down with Johnny after dinner, to bank, printer's, post-office, Geer & Pond's, etc. Corrected proof of circular. Obtained cash on post-office order, and books from Scranton's. Again wrote letters. Read missionary letters. Obtained circulars for Worcester meeting. In evening, called at Father's. Had earnest talk with Johnny about thoughtfulness. He went down to post-office. Arranged from to go to Worcester in the morning. Retired at 11.30. Sent twenty S.S. letters and three others. No letter from _____.
