(Hartford) Up at 8.15. Called at Fisher's. Wrote twelve S.S. letters and two others. Downtown before tea. Tel'd Holland. Up to Springfield at 7.15. Met teachers of 1st Congl. Ch. at Chapel, at their sociable. Addressed them and answered questions. Sat with Holland afterward at Massasoit until midnight. Retired at 12.30.
