(Hartford) Up at 8.45. Mr. Marsh again came down at 11.30. Read and signed lot of letters of appeal. After dinner went down to Geer & Pond's with Sophy to buy Tract Soc. books. Paid Litch'd & Flower's bill. bought sled for Sophy. Sent off fifty nine S.S. letters and three others. In evening took bath. Worked on Advance article. Called at Father's. Retired at 11.45.
