(Hartford) Awoke with headache. Arose at 9.30. Theodore Austin called. Out to Gen. Hawley's at noon. Sat by his bedside and talked awhile. Home at 1. Found Austin there. Gave him dinner. Down to depot with him. He went to Colchester. Down to Courant office, & post-office & Dr. Hunt's. Home at 4. Made draft of resolutions and speech for M.O.L.L.U.S. Balanced cash. Sent two S.S. letters.
