(Germantown, Pa.) Up at 7.30. Off for city by 9am train. Called at Union rooms. Attended meeting of Miss'y Com'e. Talked over Rice and Ensign. Called on John Wannamaker and at S.S. Times office. Met G. A. Peltz. Lunched at Continental. Called again at Union rooms. Visited Independence Hall with Johnny. Met Mr. Kingsbury. Home with him to Germantown. Sat there talking until 12.45. Wrote Alice.
