(Norwich, Ct.) Up at 7.45. Snowing. Drizzling rain and snow by turns. Revised Seed sermon. Preached it for Mr. Dana in forenoon. Read and wrote at noon. Out at 2pm to 2d. Congl. S.S. Spoke there. Over to Broadway Ch. S.S. Attended service there. Heard Rev. Mr. Merriman preach on Religious Drifting. Met him & Gov. Buckingham at close of service. Home with Mr. Coit. Read & wrote & talked until evening. Out to Broadway S.S. Concert at 7pm. Spoke there, using deaf-mute signs. Over to 2d. Congl. Ch. S.S. Concert. Mr. G. W. Huntington read paper on The Return from the Captivity of the Jews. Followed him with remarks on a returned prisoner's joy. Read & wrote & talked after meeting. Retired at 11.20.
