(Hartford) Up at 10.15. Remained in all day. Read most of day. Alice went out in afternoon with Mother to hear Harry Hopkins preach. Took care of Alley for a while, all alone in the house. When Sophy & May returned from S.S. had Home Service with them. Father called in evening. Commenced letter to Fred. Read S.S. papers and magazines. Retired at 10.15.
