(Boston) Up at 7.30. After breakfast called at Shute's, Noyes, Simmon's, Pratt's, & Cong'l. Off at 11.10 for Providence. Met Record. Off for home at 2.15pm. Met C.W. Cook on cars. Finished sketch of Bethany Mission. Reached Hartford about 6.30. Met Marsh & Wattles. Out to New Britain with Marsh. Met Cap't Chamberlain. Called at Geo. Ward's. He sick. Home by 7.45 train. Marsh with me. Retired at 11.45. Telegraphed Wattles.
