(Hartford) Up at 8.15. Looked over papers. Wrote letters. Sent missionary appeals. After dinner, downtown with Johnny to bank and post-office. Paid sundry bills. Called at Courant office. Telegraphed Fred. Home at 5. Took bath. Off at 6.15 for Norwich. Wrote Tyler and E.H. Sawyer on cars. Met Fred at Norwich depot. Called with him at Lanman & Levin's, and at Geo. Coit's. Supped at restaurant with Fred. Went with him to Wauregan. Long talk in evening. Retired about 1. Sent two S.S. letters.
