(Greenwich, Ct.) Up at 6.20. Cold morning. After breakfast rode to depot in Slosson's team, with Henry. Off at 8.30 for New Haven. Called at Dea. Benjamin's and at Mr. Hooker's carriage repository. Off at 11 for home. Met Col. Lynch, A. H. Byington, Rev. C. C. Carpenter and others. Alice and Allie with me. Home at 1pm. Met Thos. Gallaudet at depot. Ned & Susie in town. Downtown after dinner. Delivered receipt of L. Knowles Jr. to Mr. Shipman for $8.400. He had to send check to A. Kirkpatrick. Called at Fisher & Teller's. Home & worked on letters. Thos. Gallaudet called. In evening, Ned called. Retired at 10.30. Sent four S.S. letters and two others.
