(Hartford) Up at 8.15. Rainy morning. Wrote letters. Sent $400 to bank (Ch. Oak Nat'l) by E. G. Allen. After early dinner, off at 12.50 for New York. Met Rev. Dr. Crave on cars. Had talk with him as to Church and S.S. Wrote on record of addresses, diary, letter to Allen and letter to Fred. Reached New York at 5pm. Called at Tyler's. Downtown and off for Phila. at 6pm. Stopped at Germantown Junction & up to Mr. Kingsbury's at 10pm. Delightful evening with family there. Retired at midnight. Sent eight S.S. letters and two others.
