(Bangor, Me.) Up at 6.10. Very cold. After breakfast, off at 7.30 for Portland feeling quite ill with trouble on lungs. Read awhile. Slept much of time. At Portland, met Bozelle. Alice lost her muff. Off for Exeter. Reached there at 6pm. Went to Squamscott House. Sent card to Chas. E. Lowe. Alice went out to Mrs. Gordon's. Miss Ellen Gordon & Mr. Lane called. Bathed feet in warm water. Drank hot cream of tartar. Went to bed at 10pm.
