(Fall River, Mass.) Up at 6.30. Bright day. Remington called after breakfast. Rode with him to depot. Off for Boston with McCullagh at 8.30. Reached there about 10.30. Called at Shute's, Pratt's, Noyes, etc. Had talk with Mr. Abbot about Congl. articles on S.S.'s. Saw Mr. Torrey about McCullagh's visit to Dorchester. Dined at Parker's. Called again at Noyes. Met Marsh at 5pm. Went with him and McC. to Marlboro House to tea. Tel'd Alice. Off for home at 9pm. Met Rev. Mr. Goodridge, S.B. Haskell and others on cars. Home at 1.35am. Retired at 2.10.
