(Hartford) Up at 7.15. Memorized anew my address. Met Col. Lee & Cmdr. Bunce. Out to Gen. Hawley's, to Camps', and to Affleck's. Ordered flowers for Henry Camp's grave. Again at Affleck's. Down to depot at 1 with Prime and Mary. They went to Greenwich. Dickerson, wife, and two children came to dinner. Downtown at 1.45 to Stedman Hall. Thence with Post to American Hall. Up to Spring Grove Cemetery in procession to services of Decoration Day. Delivered the address. Lunched with Stedman Post at Barnett & Watson's. In evening called at Father's. Downtown with Johnny. Called at Allyn House. Corrected proof of address at Courant office. Retired at 10.45. Sent four S.S. letters.
