(Hartford) Up at 8. Robinson's man cacme to put in pipe for hose. Downtown with Johnny. Saw McClunie. He called at Father's to see as to grounds. In afternoon, man put gas pipes into Johnny's room. Watched them. Called at Johnny's room. He went to Norwich at 6.15. Downtown before tea and again in evening. Had long talk with Hawley about religious matters. Stopped at Father's. Retired at 11.30. Sent eight S.S. letters and two others.
