(Hartford) Up at 7.15. Bright day, not quite so hot. Made out monthly report to Phila. Father called. Downtown with Johnny. Bought coats for him and self at Kelsey's. Called at Father's. Gurdon not as well. Off at 1 for New York. Met Mr. & Mrs. Buell on cars. Wrote Prof. Baem. Read Social Science Journal. At Ashland House at 5.15. Met Tyler. Dined at Mary Prime's. Beam there. Again met Tyler. At his house with him. Off for home at 8pm. Wrote up diary on car. Home and abed at 1.10. Sent one S.S. letter and one other.
