(Hartford) Awoke with severe headache. Unable to sit up until 1.30. After dinner examined letters. Had prayers. Wrote letters. Out with Johnny to New Britain, by 6.20pm train. Supped at Humphrey House. Attended installation of Stanley Post, G.A.R., at Union Hall. Led devotional exercises. Later, made address. Back to Humphrey House. Had supper there. Went home with Cap. Chamberlain. Johnny with me. Retired about 2am. Sent four S.S. letters and telegrams.
