(Norwich, Ct.) Up at 7.20. After breakfast and a hurried call at Ed Trumbull's room, off at 8.48 for home. Met Mr. McManus, Clarence Haven, and latter's room. Wrote on cars. Wrote on sermon notes. Home at 11.30. Read letters. Wrote up reply to Rev. A. Bullard's article. Downtown with Alice & Sophy to Dr. Crane's to have two teeth for Sophy pulled. Over to Father's with family, on occasion of Mother's 72nd birthday. Johnny went to East Hampton at noon. Back at 8. Sent letter to F. Allen. Retired at 11.
