(Boston) Up at 7.20. Bright and warm day. Made ready for evening. Out at 10.30 with Mr. Stearns to Shawmut Church. Heard Dr. Webb preach on the certainty of a Judgment for all and the folly of refusing to prepare for it. Called at Dr. Webb's study at close of service. Home with Dea. Sterns. Again studied for evening, and wrote to Fred. Out with Frank, after dinner, to S.S. of Ch of the Disciples. At 3.15pm, went to Shawmut Church to Communion Service. Again read and wrote and prepared for evening. Out at 7 to Shawmut Ch. to address S.S. Concert. Spoke on Jesus' name, using blackboard. Home with Dea. Sterns. Mr. Snow there. Retired at 10.50.
