(Hartford) Up at 7. Rainy day. At 8.45 left home with Sophy to ride to Glastonbury. Severe storm. Tedious ride. Reached Mr. Kittridge's about 10.15. Preached Hypocrisy sermon at Congl church in forenoon. Attended S.S. at noon. Addressed infant department. After lunch attended Congl church and preached to children on Child-likeness. Home with Sophy after service. Johnny supped with us. Out in evening to Asylum Hill church. Heard Rev.Dr. M. R. Vincent preach on "Children, have ye any meat?". Retired at 11.
