(Hartford) Up at 8. Wrote letters. Looked over papers. Bright day. Paid Hatch & Tyler's coal bill, and Gas Co.'s bill. In afternoon called at Mr. Bartlett's, on Dr. M. R. Vincent, of Troy. Called at Father's. Made notes and read for S.S. Convention. Retired at 11. Sent seven S.S. letters and two others.
