Met Mr. Burnham and Stiles Stanton on cars. Train delayed and missed connection for Stonington. Called in New London on Mr. Haven. Off for Stonington at 1.15. Mr. Ayre & Stiles Stanton on cars. At Stonington at 2. Went to Dr. Hyde's. Made ready for service. At 4 conducted Prepatory Lecture at Congl. Chapel. Spoke from Ps. 17:15. In evening called at Billy Pendleton's. Before tea called at Uncle's and Mr. Stanton's. Sent five S.S. letters. Retired at 10.30. Called also at Mary Howe's.
