(Boston) Up at 8.20. After breakfast, met Rev. Mr. Durfee of Newburyport. Called at Scott's, Noyes, Kinsley's, 30 Winter St (Shute in Chicago). Dined at Parker's. Johnny had his hair cut. He went home at 3pm. Off at 4.45 for Newburyport. Mr. Durfee met me. Went with him to his house at Misses Harrods. Called on Miss Brown and Capt. Cross. Retired at 10.30.
