(Boston) Up at 7. After breakfast called at Shute's, Pratt's, & Parker's. Met Gen. Plaisted. With him rejoined Hawley, and went to Army of Potomac reunion at Globe Theater. With Gen. P. went to Probate office to examine records. Met Kinsley. Lunched with him and Hawley. Again at Shute's. Off for home by 3pm train, in compartment car, with Hawley & Mallory. Supped at Massasoit. Home at 7. Mary & Prime at Father's. Called on them. Read letters and papers. Told Johnny and Alice of Boston doings. Retired at 10.45. Sent five S.S. letters.
